How do I register?
Registration is easy. To register, you must have access to an email address. Press ‘Sign Up’ in the upper right hand of the site. The wizard will guide you through a series of steps. You must agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. After agreeing to those two items and entering in your information, you will receive a confirmation email, which you must respond to in order to active your account. Once activated, you can take advantage of all of the features of the EXfileZ. It’s that simple!

How do I change my profile details?
Log into the EXfileZ using your username and password. Click on the My Profile link in the upper left corner of the screen. Once on your profile page, click on ‘Update My Profile’. This will allow you to change or add profile details. Once you hit the ‘Update’ button, your changes will be saved. Please note that changes to your email address on this page will overwrite the email address in our system for all emails.

How do I post a rebuttal to an EXfile?
To post a rebuttal you must first become an EXfile member. Register for your account following the procedures outlined in ‘How do I register?’. Log into the EXfileZ and find the EXfile posted about you. Once you find the EXfile, click on ‘Click here to read more…’. This link will take you to the full EXfile. At the end of the page you will find an area to post a rebuttal. Please note that you can only post a rebuttal if you are the person the EXfile is about. The system matches the name you used to register with the name on the EXfile. If they do not match, you are not allowed to post a rebuttal.

What if the post is about me, but my name was spelled wrong by the person posting the EXfile?
If your name was spelled wrong on the posted EXfile, you will need to use the Contact Us form to let us know. Please briefly describe the problem and tell us the name used in the Post.

How do I change my email address?
Log into the EXfileZ using your username and password. Click on the My Profile link in the upper left corner of the screen. Once on your profile page, click on ‘Update My Profile’. This will allow you to change or add profile details. Once you hit the ‘Update’ button, your changes will be saved. Please note that changes to your email address on this page will overwrite the email address in our system for all emails.

How do I change my password?
Log into the system, click on ‘My Profile’ in the upper left corner of the screen and then select ‘Change my password’. You must know your security question and answer. After successfully answering that question your password will be changed.

How do I search for someone?
To search for a person, you can use the Search button on the top right of the page or you can go the Search page and enter search details.

How do I discuss an EXfile?
To discuss a particular EXfile, you can suggest the topic on the hot seat rebuttal page. Once reviewed by a Site Administrator, your EXfile may be selected to be discussed on the Hot Seat Rebuttal page. You can also log into the forum to discuss the EXfile there as well.

How do I create a blog?
To create your blog you must be logged in. Once logged in, you can click on the ‘My Profile’ button at the top of the page and then select the ‘Edit Blog’ button located underneath the main profile photo area.

How do I post photos?
To post photos of yourself, you must log into the system, click on the ‘My Profile’ button at the top of the screen after you log in, select ‘Change Profile Photo’ from the top bar or select ‘Add Photos’ underneath the ‘My Photos’ area. By changing the top photo on the upload page you will change your profile photo, however, by changing the other photos, you will add photos to your profile.
